Kristin Sperling called me a “1 bus person”.
I had no idea what that is. So she explained it to me.
It’s a person in a project or team that should not be hit by bus because some essential things depend on her.
That kept me thinking about 1 bus persons:
– Identify 1 bus persons in your team. You need to resolve the dependency. Knowledge works best on different shoulders. Process are better in systems. Never become serious dependent on one person.
– Check where you are the 1 bus person. You need to share more responsibility with the team. It’s not healthy to be a 1 bus person. Too much pressure. Start teaming up with other persons for different topics and share the responsibility.
