What should you measure?
Here are 5 items I look into after a redesign:
🐇 Pageload changes (in GA there are specific reports for it)
🧭 Nav behaviour – but you need to add Event tracking to your Nav before the relaunch to get a baseline
🧐 Search query analysis – do people search for stuff that was changed and can’t be found now
🦹🏼♀️ Click to Solution is very interesting – but this is really difficult to track in some cases – if possible I would setup funnels for all steps to be completed (before the relaunch)
🐯Health metrics – sure, you look at the generic health metrics: Users, Conversions, Marketing channel share
