Why does the problem between Data and Marketing exist?

Some thoughts:

πŸ”Š Language – two worlds, two languages – both areas have developed their own kind of language and sometimes it is hard to find the shared parts

☎️ Communication – product and marketing people often forget that the context why they want something implemented is important. The more everyone understands the motivation of an implementation the more they can buy into it and get it done in the best way.

πŸ’ Enabling – Both teams see feedback from the other team as distraction. But both could be a service agency for the other. Data helping proactively Marketing with some automation and Marketing helping data promoting things internally. Both win.
